For each solidarity project, a recipe for gourmet velouté!
As Christmas approaches, like every year, the SENTIERS D’ÉTOILES association is launching a bridge between solidarity projects and the willingly generous world of cuisine. 7 solidarity projects and 4 prestigious recipes will be presented during the weeks leading up to Christmas and all of the profits from each sale will be donated to the supported projects.
A double objective for this project:
- Allowing isolated people or people in difficulty to participate alongside volunteers from all social, cultural and professional backgrounds, in the preparation of these gastronomic treats and thus rediscover a feeling of usefulness as well as the warmth and support of a group .
- Providing transparent funding for specific projects identified and supported or implemented by associations in Alsace, by highlighting these actions.

EXOTIC JOURNEY UNDER THE BREATH OF ZEPHYR

– To finance an image processing device intended to sensitize young people with mental disorders to the dangers of images and non-real photos circulating on the internet (association IMPro Sifas)
Tasting advice :
- Arrange a carpaccio or a scallop tartare or a few diced white fish on each plate and pour the hot Velouté on top.
- Arrange a thin pan-fried foie gras escalope on each plate of burning Velouté
- Use this Velouté as a sauce over rice or tagliatelle or, in a “vegan” version, with a julienne of vegetables (grated carrot and celery drizzled with a little orange juice and a few drops of olive oil + salt and pepper macerated for 15 minutes) placed at the bottom of the plate and sprinkled with hot velouté.
